Known for its rich gold deposits, the Jundee Operations are strategically located within the Yandal Greenstone Belt, northeast of Wiluna. Jundee has been a consistent gold producer since its first production in 1995.

The Jundee Operations include both open-pit and underground mining activities. Gold ore is sourced from the primary Jundee underground mine, supplemented by the Ramone underground site and the Julius open pit. MLG’s role at Jundee centres around efficient, large-scale ore haulage critical to sustaining Jundee’s high-grade, narrow-vein gold production. With MLG’s expertise in bulk haulage and logistics, ore transport from Ramone to the processing plant is seamless, supporting a smooth workflow and consistent output.

The Jundee underground mine, accessed through multiple portals and spans extensive mining developments, benefits from MLG’s dedicated fleet and supply chain solutions, ensuring uninterrupted ore flow. This enables Northern Star to maintain its conventional CIL (Carbon-in-Leach) processing plant’s capacity, which can process approximately 3 million tonnes of ore annually.
