The Gruyere TSF Stage 4 project involved expanding the existing tailings storage facility at the Gruyere Gold Mine, a joint venture between Gold Fields and Gold Road Resources.

Over an eight-month period, MLG met every operational milestone, completing the project on time and within budget—an achievement that underscores our commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality solutions in the mining sector.

Located approximately 200 km northeast of Laverton in the Eastern Goldfields, the project required MLG to move over 1.2 million cubic meters of material, demonstrating our expertise in managing large-scale earthworks. MLG also handled all Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA-QC) processes, ensuring the highest standards were upheld throughout the project.

This undertaking included a 5-meter raise to the existing embankment, along with the elevation of the decant accessway, decant tower, access ramp, and associated piping, mechanical, and electrical services. Together, these efforts highlight MLG’s ability to efficiently execute complex civil engineering tasks to the highest standards of quality.
