Project Details about Bald Hill Lithium Mine
Project Details
MLG was engaged by Lithco (now acquired by Mineral Resources) to provide specialised crushing and mill feed services at the newly reopened Bald Hill Lithium Mine in Western Australia’s Southern Goldfields.
To meet the mine’s operational needs, MLG mobilised a four-stage crushing plant and established a 24-hour operation, crushing and feeding up to 150,000 tonnes of lithium ore per month into the Dense Media Separation (DMS) plant.
MLG’s extensive expertise in crushing and screening services played a pivotal role in the mine’s success. By ensuring efficient ore processing and consistent delivery, MLG enabled the client to swiftly ramp up production, meeting rising demand in the rapidly growing lithium market. This seamless execution was key to unlocking the mine’s full potential, aligning with the project’s aggressive production targets.
The 26-month, $48 million project is a testament to MLG’s ability to deliver high-volume, high-quality crushing and screening services under tight operational timelines. MLG’s reputation for reliability and innovation supported Bald Hill’s operational goals and reinforced its position as a critical player in the global lithium supply chain.
