Rio Tinto to Extend its Existing Contract with MLG for an Additional 3 Months
MLG is pleased to announce that it has received an extension to its existing contract with Rio Tinto (ASX: RIO) for the provision of bulk haulage and site services.
MLG Oz Limited (ASX: MLG) is pleased to advise that it has agreed to extend its provision of integrated site services across the Murchison operations with Westgold Resources Limited (ASX|TSX: WGX) (“Westgold”) for a further 12 months.
The extension covers Westgold’s Cue, Meekatharra and Fortnum Hubs within the Murchison region of Western Australia and is expected to generate approximately $75 million in revenue over the 12-month term, based on current operating activity.
Under the extension, MLG will continue to provide a range of operational services including bulk haulage across the Murchison region, road maintenance activities including dust suppression, and runof-mine (ROM) management and crusher feed services at the Meekatharra, Cue and Fortnum Hubs.

MLG has signed a new contract with New Murchison Gold (ASX: NMG) to deliver crushing and screening services at the Crown Prince gold project, part of NMG’s Garden Gully operations near Meekatharra.
