MLG at MACA Cancer 200 Ride – Triumph, Unity & Impact
Team MLG proudly participated in the MACA Cancer 200 Ride for Perkins, raising over $200,000 to fuel cancer research efforts.
At MLG, safety is not a procedure, it is a value that every team member carries onto site each day. Our newly launched Stop Work Authority campaign, “If it’s not right, bring it to light,” formalises our commitment to a workplace where every person is empowered to halt work when something is unsafe, without hesitation and without fear.
The campaign encompasses a series of site-wide safety posters including leadership messaging, designed to strengthen a culture of open, blame-free communication. Raising a concern is not causing a delay, it is preventing harm.
Every worker, regardless of role, has the authority and the support to stop unsafe work at any time.
Incidents are addressed before they occur by encouraging workers to speak up early.
A blame-free environment where safety concerns are welcomed and acted upon — not dismissed.
Safety belongs to everyone on site. Looking out for workmates is a core part of how we operate.
MLG is committed to making sure every worker who speaks up about safety feels supported. Using Stop Work Authority is a right, not a choice, and no one will face negative consequences for stopping work in good faith.
To support this, eight campaign posters have been distributed to all sites for installation, ensuring the message is consistently visible and reinforced across our operations. Supervisors and site leaders play an important role in bringing this message to life. By leading by example and starting conversations, they help ensure everyone understands their right and responsibility to stop work when something does not feel safe.
Safety is everyone’s responsibility. By looking out for one another, we build a culture that gets our people home safe, every day.
