MLG at MACA Cancer 200 Ride – Triumph, Unity & Impact
Team MLG proudly participated in the MACA Cancer 200 Ride for Perkins, raising over $200,000 to fuel cancer research efforts.
MLG was proud to join industry partners and community leaders at Truck Centre WA for the official handover of the brand-new mobile skin cancer screening unit to the Lions Cancer Institute.

This state-of-the-art unit represents a significant step forward in delivering vital health services to regional and remote communities across Western Australia. Built to medical-grade standards and equipped with modern screening technology, the mobile clinic will travel thousands of kilometres each year to provide free skin cancer checks in locations that often lack access to specialist care.
As part of our five-year sponsorship commitment, MLG has contributed $100,000 to the Lions Cancer Institute. Our funding, alongside generous support from Great Southern Fuel Supplies, Recharge Petroleum, CBH Group, and Truck Centre WA helped bring this life-saving project to life.

This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of the communities in which we live and operate. It’s a cause close to our heart and a tangible example of the power of partnership in regional WA.
The handover event featured moving speeches by District Governor Mary-Anne Wolf of the Lions Cancer Institute and Professor Nina Tirnitz-Parker AM from Curtin University’s Medical School. Both speakers highlighted the critical role early detection plays in combating skin cancer and the impact this mobile unit will have in reaching isolated communities.

For MLG, supporting this project is about more than funding; it’s about stepping up to deliver better outcomes where it matters most. Witnessing the handover was a proud moment for our team, who were able to see firsthand what this partnership has helped achieve.
