MLG Secures Maiden Contract with Rio Tinto
MLG has secured a 12-month, $20 million contract with Rio Tinto to provide bulk haulage and site services at the Western Turner Syncline Mine in Western Australia.
MLG Oz Limited (ASX: MLG) has signed a new contract with New Murchison Gold (ASX: NMG) to deliver crushing and screening services at the Crown Prince gold project, part of NMG’s Garden Gully operations near Meekatharra in Western Australia.
The 30-month agreement, valued at up to $15 million, marks MLG’s first engagement with New Murchison and includes the provision of a mobile crushing plant with an integrated automated sampling system. MLG will manage full operation and servicing of the plant for the duration of the contract, commencing August 2025. The contract also allows for potential month-by-month extensions of up to six months beyond the initial term.
The agreement is expected to generate approximately $500,000 in revenue per month for MLG over the contract period, contributing to the company’s continued growth and strengthening its recurring revenue base.
New Murchison Gold holds a significant tenement package in the Murchison Goldfield region, and the Crown Prince deposit is a key focus within their development pipeline.

This announcement adds to a series of recent contract wins and extensions for MLG, including engagements with Fortescue and Rio Tinto, as the Company continues to expand its capabilities across iron ore and gold operations.
